FGS-2x3 switch 2 not reporting state to controller

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Just deployed an FGS-2x3 double switch 2 and configured it with Home Assistant.

Switch 1 works as expected but switch 2 does not report it's state to HA when I switch on / off lights using the physical switch.

Switch 1 does also update the energy consumption in my controller but switch 2 is stuck at 0 even if the light is indeed turned on.

Note that I can correctly control switch 2 from my controller to turn it on / off, but again no energy consumption is reported for this switch even when turning it on from the controller.

The other odd thing I noticed is that HA sees 3 switches for this sensor, "name.switch, name.switch_2, name.switch_3".

Did I get a buggy one?

Thanks!

I don't know why, but indeed there are 3 switches... and one of them doesn't show power consumption. Make sure you're using the right one.

In any case please verify that parameters 10-20 are set to default.

By the way you should have additional device "heat detection"

Yep I do have the heat device but have not connected the heat sensor so have no use for it.

All parameters are set to defaults and switch type is correct but still only one of the switches works as expected.

So you do have at least 2 sensors which correctly report state back to the controller right?

Guess I have a faulty one then :(

Yes,  two switches are working as expected...

By the way as far as I know the heat detector does not need any sensor, it's builtin feature... in case of overheat it sends alarm.
