Sending notifications to one device only

Question

Posted

Hi,

I have several devices that log into Fibaro home centre and two separate users (me and the wife).

Only our two phones are checked to receive push notifications in the mobile device list.

How do I select which messages go to which mobile device?

I notice the fibaro:call(224, "sendDefinedPushNotification", "248"); identifies device, in this case 224.

How do I find out the id of a device?

That doesn't help me find out the userID for the push notification.

I was able to do it by creating a block scene and converting to Lua.

You find user IDs here: http://HC_IP/api/users (example http://10.10.0.10/api/users).

    Hi @Lenny212,

For push notifications you actually need mobile devices ID and not users ID. To find mobile devices ID you can go with your browser to this link:

    http://<YOUR_HC2_IP_ADDRESS>/docs/#!/iosDevices/getIosDevices

Just replace <YOUR_HC2_IP_ADDRESS> with IP address of your HC2 eg. 192.168.0.12
