Not getting a simple scene to work

Hey!

 

Can someone please "translate" the few blocks I have in this scene? I am not getting what the different boxes are doing. I haven't really gotten the grasp of what exactly the red boxes do either. Is it pause before going further in the scene or is it duration of the current line in the scene? Or something else? It's such a simple scene and yet it isn't working. What it should do is tell me if the power has been on for more than 30 seconds, but the current load is less than 100W (then send me a notification). It is a freezer without a thermostat so I just use a wall plug to switch it ON and OFF with an interval scene. So if the wall plug is on but the load is less than 100W = freezer is broken. I thought this scene read:

 

If Freezer is ON, wait 30 seconds

and (if)

Freezer current load is less than 100 W (after the 30 seconds)

then

do this

 

I have entered a pause because it takes a few seconds for the load to stabilise above 100 W. Any help would be great!

I do have similar scenes, which work perfect, see below (AEON Labs Gen 5 wall switch)

The timeouts are chosen based on the update rate of the wall switch. Auto report 5% or 25W of change or 300s for reporting group 1.

the wattage gives some additional 'safety' and was estimated after a few trial and error experiments.

After 360s the wattage is for sure updated.

Thanks for your feedback! Not sure it made me much wiser though, so please let me ask a follow-up question. I can't see 5 %, 25 W or 300 s anywhere in your scene? Am I right in understanding your scene that it is first triggered when wall plug is turned on, then waits 360s before checking if the load is more than 16 W, and if it is, then waits another 180 s before switching your devices off?

The change in wattage 5% or 25W and the reporting time are from the advanced settings page of the AEON Labs wall switch.

So you have to check the settings of your wall switch for these values.

I do understand it as: If the TV is on for at least 360s, and the wattage is below 16 after another 180s, only then switch the TV off. Francly said I am not 100% sure about this and how especially this is combined in an AND. Could well be that it means IF TV == (ON for 360s) AND (wattage is lower than 16 after 180s). which would lead to roughly two wattage readings.....

At least it works perfect and the TV can be on for hours but when switched to standby takes a few minutes and all is turned off.
