Question

Just bought a hcl with a dimmer 2.

Setting up with hcl control panel went fine but I cannot get it to work with my Alexa.

Asked: Search for Fibaro home center and she found it.

In this case i have named my dimmer 2 hallway lights, So I asked, alexa turn on hallway lights and she responds: I wasen't able to finish the action?

Haven't seen anyone with this problem on the internet.

Also when I try to find devices Alexa doesen't find anything except my Ikea Trådfri liggtbulbs.

Any suggestion?

Hi @Jonas.swe!

Welcome to our community :  )

After you had added Fibaro Skills (two skills, more info here:

Please login or register to see this link.

) did you try to use command: discover devices?

Did you make sure that:

  • Your Home Center is properly connected to Remote Access via FIBARO ID.
  • Your Home Center is first on the list of connected gateways on home.fibaro.com.
  • Your Home Center is updated to version 4.130 or newer.

After she had found it, did you say number 1? Because she probably listed Home Center devices but then you had to choose one.
