Push notifications doesn't have interactive part

NeilR

Question

Hi, I've setup push notifications to my phone after a scene is triggered. It displays a notification on my phone, but doesn't give me the option to run/cancel etc. Any advice gratefully received! Thanks

Hi @NeilR,

For interactive push messages you need to use this code:

Please login or register to see this code.

For "mobiledevices" you need to setup mobile devices ID (one or more separated by comma) that will receive interactive message and you can find them here: http://<YOUR_HC2_IP>/docs/

For "category" you can use either "YES_NO" or "RUN_CANCEL" as far as I know.

For "sceneId" you enter scene ID that you will run if you press selected button "YES" or "RUN".

What @gucio1234 give you link for are popup interactive messages that show in mobile app inbox. They will not show on mobile device lock screen, so if you need immediate response it is better to use above code for push interactive messages since they show on lock screen or even on Apple watch (maybe also on Android wearable) and you can initiate action from there!

@Sankotronicinteractive push messages don't work as expected. your example works.... but without choice [yes] [no] - just simple push notification.

iPhone.

UPD: just tested on my old LGE Nexus 5

yes, it works!

I have checked this and it does not always work. Most of the cases there is popup on the phone but no action to select.

I tried "YES_NO"  "RUN_CANCEL"  "TAK_NIE"  (which is in Polish), but on the phone I got just pop-up without option to select.

I think the selection I received only once.
