Gateway sync on demand

Is there any way to initiate syncronization between the main HC2 controller and the slave HCL gateway from a scene or virtual device?

My house HC2 loses sync to my garage HCL quite often.

Unfortunately not yet. I have asked Fibaro support about it a year ago.

Before updating from 4.180 to 4.510 this used to work:

But now HC2 does not launch the sync command anymore. Any ideas?

Hi, I added a HCL in my barn to my existing HC2 in my house today.

See you have similar setups and guess I will hit this sync issue sooner or later as well.

 

In addition, Do I have to exclude and include again the other z-wave devices I already had in the barn prior to installing the HCL in there?

I added the HCL mainly to get better coverage as the HC2 was on the border or getting the signal through..

And do you log on to the slave controller to add devices which is closest to the slave or will it work just as good doing all the work from the main HC2?

Yes, you need to create a different z-wave network with HCL, you have to exclude devices from HC2 and include them to new z-wave HCL.

Then synchronize the HCL Gateway connection in HC2 config menu. All new HCL devices will be then visible in HC2.

In HCL you need to setup all devices parameters.

Then control them in HC2 by scenes.

 

But as you will see later, the system does not work as expected. I have HCL v1.504 Beta and HC2 v4.510 and every hour the battery operated devices looses sync.

Before these updates, it was happening once a month, maybe. Now every hour... It also looks like POST method is not working anymore...in order to sync them on demand.

 

incredible...  Fibaro, how you managed to ruin my entire network, time and money lost with one update.

I will buy another HC2 to replace my gateway HCL just to end once and for all this fight with the low CPU and RAM of Home Center Lite which everybody agrees that is way too lite. I am sure this was actually your goal with this update, all of us have to switch to HC2.

Hello - is there now a solution concerning the sync of HC2 and HCL? Unfortunately, I also have the problem that the syncohization is not correct and so partially scenes are executed incorrectly or not at all.

Latest now I have the HLC reporting fires (false alarm) and HCL not reseting or syncing the alarm state.

The we interface works, but any action is not working on the HCL..

Do you use any Aeon multi sensors, they have issues with spikes causing fire warning message to be sent.

A work around is In configuration general page, up the temp in setting s before fire warning message is to be sent.

It is everspring sf812 detectors. 

Those give alarm from time to time and do not reset. 

Fibaro wall plug somewhat freeze and do not act or report properly
