HC2 all leds on and service blinking

After a power outage today, my HC2 would not completely start. I have all the leds on and the service led blinking!?! and to make things worse, my recovery USB has been broken for sometime(so no backup). Am i screwed?

Any ideas???

I was too quick to post. I removed the recovery usb and restarted without it and it worked okay. I guess the new version 4.140 does check the recovery USB and I guess will just hang and not continue the startup sequence, but that never happened to me before 4.140. Maybe that is something fibaro needs to look at especially with all the broken usb out there!

Hi, I have the same issue on my HC2, everytime after power break HC2 don't start and stay at this led status. For me helps to press power button to make HC2 off and after this press power button to normal start.

Hi @A.Smolinski,

Thank you for answer, I contacted support on 28.11.2017, from this time I periodically asked for resolving my issue, last answer 20.3., Case Notification for #127054 "HC2 Error starting after power failure" from Maciej Mróz.

"we are still waiting for improvement from Software Team".

Now I'm on UPS and I'm waiting for software improvements.

You have two options to choose from:

 

1. Keep on waiting for the improvement from our Software Team mentioned before.

2. Sending us the HC so that we can have a closer look at it and find the best solution.

 

The choice is yours, although I would strongly recommend that you choose the second one. ;)

Hi, thanks for answer.

I would choose the second one too, if is possible migrate to new HC2 with my project. Is possible restore my current project to new HC2?

FIBARO has before long time announced backup to cloud, is ti now possible? Or other way?

There is no way to store your data in the cloud at the moment, but if you were to send your HC2 to our support along with a note that you would like them to migrate your data to a new one, they would be happy to do so!

Yes, that is an old problem with the inability to migrate to new a device. I hope FIBARO will develop a way to migrate between devices in the future.

Now is for me and I think for other users too unacceptable to send to service the home center, which controls all house, security, away, with no guarantee, that backup will be restored.
