Problem with association between Dimmer 2 and Wall Plug

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello to everyone,

This is my first post here and I am also pretty new to zwave and the Fibaro devices. For testing, I have a small setup consisting of one Dimmer 2 with 2 momentary switches connected. S1 directly controls a LED lamp which works perfectly.

S2 is associated to 2 wall plugs with both have one lamp connected. This is not working properly: Pressing the switch connected to S2 instantly switches on the wall plugs. Pressing the switch again (also after a couple of minutes) does not switch off the wall plugs most of the time, and I have to press the switch like from 2 to 5 or even more times to switch off the wall plugs.

I have absolutely no idea what could go wrong here, as it cannot be range issue, otherwise switching on the wall plugs would be problematic as well. Also, my zwave mesh is very simple: there is nothing more than the Dimmer 2, the 2 wall plugs (in the same room) and the controller stick. I have also already tried to reset all devices involved and re-associated everything without sucess.

Any hints are greatly appreciated, as this issue really prevents me from installing more Fibaro devices. Also, if there is a way to debug associations let me know. I am open for all kinds of crazy things to make this working ;-).

Best,

Ben

i bit late. I have also problems with association between a dimmer 2 and wallplug (the wall plug is not always turned off).

however grouping did the job for me. disadvantage is that you can not control the wall plug anymore independently.
