[feature request] regular time update of HC lite

Recommended Posts

Posted

Currently,

HC lite only gets actual time from NTP server if you save configuration on location tab in settings. In time, the time of HC lite doesn't match real time anymore. Only way to sync now is to press save button again on location tab. Would be nice if HC lite syncs automaticly from time to time

And when the HCL restarts.

In practice NTP sync doesn't work, you can only use it for one time setting.

No sync at startup of HCL, it simply only syncs when saving location tab.

NTP supports interval synchronisation, so if Fibaro builds this in HCL software than time will sync following interval given....

Some in-depth discussion going one here, probably applies to HCL as well:

Fibaro reply dated Dec 2017 and yet the issue is still not solved. My HCL is now running 22 minutes late in reporting, so what good is this for security?...

is is there a fix for it?
