web interface suddenly very slow

Question

Posted

Hi!

Today I installed a plugin and created a new LUA scene and after that I noticed that the web interface got VERY slow (it often takes 1min to load a page, sometimes even longer). After that I removed the LUA scene and the plugin again but the problem persisted. I restarted the box twice, I disconnected everything but the box from my router, but nothing helped.

The CPU usage is very low, but it seems the web interface has trouble to access files (like images, scripts etc.), even smaller images load sometimes very long.

I'm on firmware version 4.150.

Does anyone know how to find out what's wrong?

Cheers

MJFox

I found the solution (or at least the reason) for the problem: my HC2 was connected to a switch... connecting it directly to the router fixed the slow web interface

strangely the led on the switch indicated that the HC2 was using a gigabit-connection and I believe before the problem arrised it was a 100MBit-connection

    Hi @MJFox!

It's not necessarily the same problem, but following these ideas may also help you:
