Block scene time triggered

Question

Posted

Hi

I have my coffemaker on timer, if my home is set in "Home"(hjemme) mode. This works, the coffemaker wont start if the home is in "away" mode. But when I switch my home from: "away" to "Home" mode, The coffemaker starts immediatly no matter what time it is. can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Thanks,, ;)

Try to change the the two triggers so your Modus-trigger is first and the time second. Sometimes this works although your block scenes seems to be right.

or untick the trigger from modus,. So when its time,, it will trigger on time and then it will check if modus is trigger or not

This is absolutely the right answer. I discovered this function only after many headaches....

Here is the solution ;) took me a time to sit down and do this :P

From what I've been reading in here, its better to make this if youre gonna have a timer function for a longer period of time, instead of the delay function using the red block.

couldn't make Samuels suggestion work, from my understanding it is not possible to have a timer as an "if" condition in the scene. So,

I started to make a predefined variable. one for OFF and one for ON

Made scenes for on and off. kaffetrakter=coffemaker

Remeber to tick the "start when home center 2 starts" in general settings of the scene.

Next I set the variable as an "if" condition and a variable for when I'm home.

    and the same for off

Hope this will help you ;)

    not what i meant:

above this scene there is one tick box, the scene below is an example

you can untick this (veranda) by triggering device, then it will only trigger on the exact time and not on the combination of (the exact time and trigger called "veranda")

    n

the advantage is that you can trigger on one item and after it has been triggered, it will check if the other condition is also true, otherwise it will trigger on both items, if true

The scene below works perfectly. I just different values, or trigger methods, but works
