Question

Posted (edited)

I'm having problems trying to set up the Heating Panel and I could do with some help please.

My setup-

I have a Fibaro relay actuator that is used to turn my heating boiler on ready to accept a signal/call from the room (Heat-It) thermostat when heat is required.

If I operate the Fibaro relay manually to turn on the boiler and then set the room thermostat temperature manually the boiler fires up and heats the room okay.

When I installed the Heat-It Z-Wave thermostat it shows in the room as three devices as detailed below -

I have tried to link the Heat-It thermostat (in the linked devices panel) to the Fibaro boiler relay but I don't see the Hall Thermostat in the Linked Devices list,  I only see the Hall Temp and the Fibaro boiler relay.  I need to be able to set/change the Heat-It thermostat temperature, hence I think I need to link the Hall Thermostat?

Can anyone help please?

Fibaro HC2 OS is version 4.151 Beta

Thanks

Steve

You can only link sensors and actors. Hall Temp is the only sensor in your Heat-It-Thermostat.

Yes I know the Hall Temp is only a sensor.  My question was why isn't the thermostat showing up in the list, I would class it as an actuator!  This makes the Heating Panel is completely useless!

What happens if you link the Hall Temp with your Fibaro relay?

I don´t use linked devices. I use a LUA script. The script compares the measured temperature with the desired temperature and if there is a difference, it turns on my boiler.
