Problem sending variables in Lua script

Question

Posted

I am trying to send some variables in my Lua script under Virtual Devices.

Please login or register to see this code.

What I want to do is putting in the 2 variables in my output. Channel which is 12 and Brightness which is 100 in this example. My dimmers input format is xxayya where "a" is the command mark.

How do I insert the variables so my text output stays the same?

Hi @zeb crs,

LUA uses two dots .. to concatenate (put together) string values. You can use that to put more than one variable to make complete command like this:

Hope this helps.
