[SOLVED]Is it possible to add non z-wave devices to scenes

Question

Posted

Hi, I have added various "devices" to my Fibaro HC2, such as Hue lights and (bridge Plug-in), AV unit via a Virtual Device, Harmony Elite hub (plug-in), but if I try to add these to a scene using either Magic Scene or blocks,  they don't appear in the list of devices to choose from, but they are on the list of devices on the devices page.

Is it not possible to add these other devices to scenes?

Hi @MartW,

You should be able to add virtual devices to scene actions in block scenes.

If you want to add plugin, you need Lua to achieve that, so HC2 is needed.

But for Philips Hue, there is nice virtual device made by @Sankotronic (HC2 needed)

and for HCL, there is VD made by @AkilliYuva.com

Best regards,

Jakub Ježek

Thanks @jakub.jezek I have it workig now, I hadn't actually got any virtual devices installed at that point, only plugins. Now that I have installed some VD's, they are working.
