Danalock V3 parameters missing

Hello,

 

my Danalock v3 includes but doesn't show any parameters.

Locking/unlocking via the GUI works.

 

I've tried both including as a device with security turned on and including as a lock.

 

This is the log of the inclusion. Apparently no parameters are exchanged:

Not sure if this is related but since I installed the lock the event panel loads forever.

 

HCL SW is 4.153 and 0.7.9 on the lock

 

Any suggestions please?

I have the same problem. Fibaro tech support says: 

 

At this moment I am forwarding the template along with your pertinent suggestion to our Software Developers for a review to check if it can be added to Fibaro system within one of the next software updates. We are constantly working on adding templates to our system, but because of large number of such devices it can take some time. I have to ask for a little bit more patience.

What is more, please take a note that devices added without templates should still work with basic functions since templates give us only visual support for maintaining the device. This means that templates facilitate changing the parameters, however most of other functionalities should work without problems. To change a parameter, please go to device’s advanced settings and choose “Add Parameter” at the bottom of the page. All the information about parameters of a given device is in its manual.

simply click add, fill the param number (1 to 6 as param number), select all "read only" or "default" (if you included as first in zwave, if not, you will overwrite BT settings, which will then eventually overwritten by BT app, so read only is better choice if unknow) and click on save. Once all params has been read out (check on top of the Fibaro UI the status messages coming from Danalock back), refresh the view, and you will see all params. From that point, you can change them to what so ever you need. Simply - no need for template.

Hmm, today the new 4.170 firmware for HC2 is available but there is still no template for the Danalock V3 included...

Included danalock v3 yesterday in my HC2 (4.510) and it works ok. Did manual calibration (by pressing button with a needle), so I only control it from HC2 (no danalock app). Indeed, no parameters in fibaro GUI but I manually added them as described above and then I could for example set autolock after 15 secs

On the HC2 4.54 software and 2 danalock v3 that include but are not working.

Status is open but in real lock is closed.

Battery warning empty but in real battery is 90 percent full.

Remove from app and zwave controller and did factory default/reset.

New inclusion doesn't help.

Someone any idea?

I have the same problem since the last update of lock (0.11.0)

A lot of inclusion/exclusion lock without result

The danalock is in home center so not configured and without template...

Auto solution 

I just downgrade the donalock firmware to 0.96 with this solution and all work fine !

@laudec  Hello,

 

The nRF Toolbox will open in “DFU” mode. Press the “Select Device” button, which will show a list of devices. Choose the device called “dfuDanaDevice” and press “Upload”. The firmware will now be uploaded and installed on the Danalock. The Danalock will light up blue while connected to your phone.

 

I have excluded the Danalock from HC2 and try to downgrade the firmware.  nRF Toolbox cannot see my Danalock V3. Do I have to click the hole on the lock? Could you please shed some lights on this?

@laudec  Sorry overlooked the website, need to remove battery and click the hole for firmware upgrade mode

After downgrade to 0.96 -> include into home center -> upgrade firmware back to latest will also work.  With latest version Danapad can be paired with the lock as well.

Hello

i have downgrade the firmware and i have No template again....

any solution ?

Had the exact same problem. but finally i did it!

I have Danalock V3 FW: 0.11.9 and HCL v4.570.

 

1. I already had the lock connected and calibrated via Bluetooth

2. Delete the old "unconfigured" one(s).

3. Move the lock very close to the HCL (i had 30 cm away)

4. Set the HCL into learning mode with ONLY the "Add in security mode if device supports it"

5. Open the Danalock app and go to Settings --> Smarthome --> Z-Wave

6. Choose "Connect"

 

The Danalock V3 will be added with all the parameters.

 

7. Move the lock to its final position (probably the door )

8. In Fibaro do a "Neighboring" update when it not reacts to fibaro command

 

I can use it now with fibaro and Bluetooth.

Downsides:

- The icon is from a door camera? This is changable. It will turn red when locked.

- It is whining about empty batteries while the Danlock app says 82%

- The lock is not fully opened so i needed to recalibrate it again, i did this manually.

Where did you find old version pls...? I cant find it..
