LUA Scene - uploading Popp Z-Rain Data to EmonCS

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi,

in another forum a user provided a script to transfer Rainsensor data to the EmonCS Service. I am pretty new to this and I fail to adapt the LUA Scene to my device. Should be fairly simple for someone who knows more about LUA. Since there is no way of contacting users in that forum and no one has replied to my question I hope to get an answer here.

I have adapted the script as far as I am capable but I have no idea where to insert my device ID of the rain sensor.

local key has to be replaced with my key for EmonCS, that is clear. I have tried replacing "deviceID" with "9" (the device ID of the rain sensor) in line 17 but that resulted in :

[DEBUG] 11:09:00: line 20: Assertion failed: Expected number

Hi @D4RK1

It looks as though you need to set the device id in the scene header, ie:

Please login or register to see this code.

If you want to test it running manually, then temporarily change this line:

Please login or register to see this code.

To:

Please login or register to see this code.
