Hi
I`m new to both HA and never coded but certainly taken with the whole idea!
So far I have a HC2 and a couple of dimmer units and all I have manged to do is set a lamp to activate on sunset and be controlled via Alexa - but what a great feeling (sad I know!)
Next, and here`s where I need some pointers, I would like to install several of the fibaro motion sensors around to act as PIRs and use as a security alarm controlled by a wall mounted tablet in my hallway. I have a redundant outside bell box which I was thinking of using, by controlling it with a relay switch to activate.
I know some say don`t use wireless as security, not too worried about this but interested to know opinions why but please could anyone help me off. - Where to start or find / download information on setting this up. A basic tutorial for example ?
Thanks.
