no, he is talking about the voice box functionality that is automatically activated if you don't answer the call.

Problem: most of the people in front of the door didn't read the intercom manual and have no clue what's happening.

 

The "beeeeep" combined with red flashing numbers and buttons is not soooo self explanatory as you might think.

In that case, you could simply remove the memory card from your device. That should solve it easily.

you might ask (any is maybe not truth) Fibaro Certified Installer (or support of course), they should be able to use Intercom API to set recorder, via recorder.events.setEnable, to record only "on_demand" and disable ""voice_mail". In this case one can still record, via plugin record function, on request and not always when missed.
