Fakro Windows & Blinds

Hi,

 

Can somebody tell me how to get Fakro Windows and Blinds recognised & set up in HC2 please?

 

(I've asked Fakro UK, but just got a series of "have you looked in the manual?" or "we'll get someone to get back to you" responses.  The manuals on their web pages for the controllers & switches seem to be in Polish. which I can't read:

Hello,  I'd like to know how to get Fakro Windows and Blinds recognised & set up in HC2.  I have no understanding of how to add them (beyond my assumption that in the4 HC I go to Devices > Add/remove > Add.  Then....what should be done with the Fakro windows/blinds/remotes/wall switches to get them added to the HC2?  Then What should be done withe the HC2 to operate them?

 

I have Fakro FTV anf FTU-V Z-Wave windows and ZWP10 remotes, ARF Z-Wave Blinds and ZWG3 wall switches.  None of the manuals give me any clue how to add them to the HC2 from the pictures

I only own the fakro window openers, some added to the hc2 (for the time being, the rest to homeseer 3)

for the openers, choose remove devices in homecenter, then push the red button on the fakro 3 times, then choose add device and push the red button again 3 times. 

this should add the fakro to the homecenter, as for youre remotes, i don't know them. perhaps you can add them to the homecenter as well? after that associate them with the openers??

Hi Thanks, 

I've read a snippet on the HomeCentre light forum that the person found after adding the window controller, his/her remotes no longer worked. There was some speculation that the the remotes might or might not be secondary controllers but maybe if they were, it was because the HC light didn't work with secondary controllers that caused the problem.  It would be good to get some definitive input since I won't be popular with my family if having added the windows to the HC2, they subsequently can't be operated using the wall switches and remotes.

you can use wall transmitters in combination with scenes to open/close the windows. you can add as many as you want (i use the zwave.me wall-c)

I think I'd rather use the 2x £144.37 wall switches I've already paid Fakro for than buy more stuff, if it can be made to work as it is supposed to.
