Massive initialization errors

Without any warning after logging in HC encountered a lot of Initialization Errors:

A lot of devices are NOT CONFIGURED

What causes this.

How do I solve this issue?

I did a restore from a backup and all devices had no errors.

so where do I find any final solution to the original problem?

So far only workarounds were suggested.

Restoring backup is not a final solution it is only emergency solution.

Remove power from the homecenter and wait 10 minutes. Then plug it in again and let it restart. Normally that will help. If not, then I hope you have a backup!

 

I have only seen that behaviour once. What firmware version are you on?

On 4.154 Beta.

 

I did already a few restarts, but will add a 10 minute delay..

I experienced this two times. Once it happened after rebooting HC2 and once after upgrade and reboot. In both cases restoring last backup solved problem. Actually in second case with upgrade I had to restore backup done before upgrade and not the one that is made by upgrade procedure.

10 minutes wait was not succesfull in solving the issue. ;-(

 

Ohhh, and I did a lot of programming and adding and modifying VD's and scenes since the last backup.

Now way to restore only the "non configured devices" I assume?

I might have to export VS's and copypaste Scenes before?

 

Can I use HC2 Toolkit to save scenes and VD's and import them again?

Every VD has export possibillity. Edit the VD and you see export button
