Electric Curtains Sunflower KT52E 220V Motor 2 Wires

Question

Posted

Hello guys. I just received my electric curtains from Dooya Sunflower which has a 220V motor and 2 wires+ground. Because I'm stupid and I didn't check before twice what I was planning to order, now I have some issues regarding the wire  connection of this electric curtain to Fibaro Roller shutter. PLEASE GIVE ME AN IDEEA how I should control the motor from my Fibaro app. Thanks in advance

You have the wrong motor, you need the 4 wire one.

I know that, that's the reason why I ask for solutions :)

But, is there some description for the interface? And another thing - what mean the 433 there on label? Some controlling protocol with this frequency?

I think you may use Old Fibaro switch which can be used as potential free. Or you can use Quibino potential free relay.

This should work something like - the umbrella is turning untill the switch is on. When its off, it stopped in the position. You won't be able to see the position in Fibaro thought.

Thanks Guys ! I will attach a picture with the motor. I was also thinking if I could use a 433Mhz RF - Z-wave bridge. This type of motor has 2 Wires+Ground 220V and  has also some DRY contacts, maybe I can use a relay?  Thanks again in advance!!

You need to check the wiring of the dry contact on the motor itselve. Dry contact from relay is exactly the same thing as normal relay, only it does not give any potential out. The connection is same as with normal relay too, so you just need to find D the input that you need to switch with dry relay. But it would not be any of those cables that are hanging out, those are for constant power.

But what happens when you connect the motor to main load? Does it start immediately?

Honestly I think the sticker is not correct on it.

You can use a relay on the dry contact input, but then you can not have curtains half open.

HC2 does not know the status of the curtains.

So do your self a favour and buy the 4 wire motor (like i have)
