[SOLVED]Is my brand new HC2 dead?

Question

Posted (edited)

I got my new HC2 yesterday and i am frustrated now.

I try to add devices  but HC2 don´t find them. Things that had to be done: 1: Reboots 2: HC2 without power over the night. 3: Reset to factory settings. 4. Shut down HCL who stand belong of HC2.

After 2 years with HCL i think i can the Fibaro system now but it can be thing i´m not aware.

What does it mean you "got"? Did you buy it?

Was it a used unit?

Do you have the right frequency of your Home Center? Is it the same Z-Wave frequency as the modules' frequency?

    I buy it brand new.

When i tried to add devices it show that it used EU frequence wich is right, and all my devices work well with my HCL.

HC2 find HCL in "gateway connection", Update to 4.160 went like a charm to.

    Okay.

I understand that you want to change your HCL to HC2.

In this case, when you try to add modules to HC2, they are probably added to your HCL device.

In order to add them they need to be free from any previous connections so you need to REMOVE them first (you can use HC2 for that as well) and it is also a good idea to RESET modules if there are still some problems.

I hope you understand what was wrong. Modules can be added to only one main controller at the same time, so their memory needs to purged before you can add it again.

EDIT: You've added the screenshot while you add the device. But please remove them first, their memory needs to be cleaned up! : )
