Make secondary controller prime again.

Question

Posted

Hello,

my HCL has been a secondary controller for quite some time. Now I want to make it again a primary controller of its own.

How can this be achieved? In find the options under Configuration->Zwave network a bit confusing.

I have some older backups (prior to making HCl a secondary controller), would it help to restore one of those?

Thank you,

jayrock

Hi @jayrock

Do you mean that your Home Center Lite is now a slave to a different Z-Wave controller?

Would you like to change the roles and you want the primary controller to be the slave and the slave to be the primary controller?

Would you like just to remove the connection between some controllers so that this HCL is not a slave but just a controller?

Clarification would be very useful!

Thank you for your response. I want to make to make it a primary controller of its own, independent of the other controller.

In the meantime I did restore a backup that was taken prior to making it a secondary controller. This seemed to have worked out fine.
