Question

Hi

This is my first post so please go easy - I have searched the forum for answers but couldn't find what I was looking for.  I am relatively new to this and have created some useful scenes for my house and have got my head around variables etc.....I have no idea if the following is possible so would appreciate some advice:

I have purchased a dimmer module and have a fibaro motion sensor, I want to use it as follows:

Dimmer module to work with the motion sensor so that if it detects motion during darkness then it brings the light on at 20% for 60 seconds.

Using the wall switches (toggle) will override the dimming and switch the light on to 100%, likewise the switches being turned off will turn lamp off.

Can someone suggest how to create a scene to control the dimming?  I have a HCL by the way so it will have to be graphic blocks and not code.

My appreciation in advance, many thanks.

The attached image should assist you to get you started, I have tried it myself sometimes it works but I still have some teething problems.

Work on it around those lines. If you manage to get the switch to overrule the scene let me know.

    Thanks

I have made a few changes to the scene:

Firstly it relies on time being sunset to sunrise  - controlled by a variable

Secondly it checks that the light is currently off.  (Its a landing light, switching on downstairs then walking upstairs caused the lamp to dim to 25%, not what was wanted)

I also changed a couple of parameters in the device:

Parameter 20 set to toggle switch

Parameter 19 set to 99% - forces lamp to full brightness when switched on (otherwise was going to 25% as set by motion detection and scene)

Parameter 23 - double click set to disable.

I am still not quite there with it.

Scenario - come onto landing at night, bulb goes to 25%.  Then switch on manually to get full brightness, the scene will turn the bulb off after 10 seconds.

I need the scene to stop if the lamp is switched on and cannot work out how to do this.

That is the part I need help too, how to stop the scene once the light is on with the switch. Need to find a way to get it to overrule the scene.
