ZIPATO INDOOR SIREN problems

Hello,

I booth new ZIPATO INDOOR SIREN and want use it with FIBARO HC2:

- adding at secure mode was successful

- at FIBARO is template for this device missing

- more serious is that this device should support more siren sounds. But for start this sounds is necessary use multilevel switch. But FIBARO added by adding only one switch On-Off.

Command fibaro:call(344, 'setValue', '2'); doesn't work.

Is other possibility to control this device?

Actually i'm not suprissed with this one. Maybe it is in pipeline, but whoever knows when Fibaro developers add their teplate.

It seems that you have to set exact parameter to desired value. Basic function is Turn On (get loud) and Off (get silent).

You should be able to do following:  fibaro:call(344, 'turnOn') and fibaro:call(344, 'turnOff'). Command fibaro:call(344, 'setValue', '2') is used mainly for Dimmers and Roller shutters.

Thank you, turnOn and turnoff works. But for ZIPATO sirene is for using more sounds necessary to use multilevel switch. How is possible to use other as alarm sound with FIBARO?

I have a devolo sirene that is a zipato sirene under the sticker  

Also face the same issue. Change of the sound it does not exist on fibaro HC2. I have contact fibaro support, sending them the zip file before the new update. I hope to get it working correct in the new upgrade (whenever it comes).

Hi, thank you for message, I have done the same, answer from support was "after adding template will multiswitch for control sounds work".

Im waiting for it, hope it will be added at next update

I installed new beta. still no template! it is a pain in the heart to see that fibaro does not take care of their customers. I was watching other posts about the total lack on customer focus of fibaro but I was convinced that these post where just noise between happy customers. I feel now that they are not the exception but the rule.

@Fibaro you sell a z-wave gateway, suppose you want it to be compatible and easy to use with any (not exotic) device.

I think that you punish us without a reason that we bought another device that is not made by fibaro.

Hello, yes, I'm still waiting for new zipato siren template too. I wrote few times to support, but answer was only it will take some time. But it is too long time now ...

Fibaro has too many requests for creating new templates. They have to prioritize.

Also, it would be helpful if you could post links to the manuals of the devices or add them here so that I could only add it to the request. This way, we will know which exactly device should be tested.

@FSE Hello!!!

 

I also have a Devolo siren, connected it successfully. ( ON/OFF switch ). The problem is when the siren is triggered, only light alarm is turned on, no sound is coming out. I have read on devolo's product sheet that the siren is originally sent with sound function off, and that it is needed to turn it on in Devolos Home control. I am using HC lite, and do not see any options how to turn the sound on the Devolo siren. Of course the device is without template. Please help!

Have you heard anything back after all this time? This device is very useful and has been out for some time. Do Fibaro only participate in this forum to move topics?

i have the same Problem with the same Sirene "Devolo Alarmsirene". So what is the Status of it ? After 2 Year no Solution

for this ? Where is the Problem, how can we help to solve this?

We pay so much money for the HC2 and there is no Solution for this ? That can´t be possible I think.

So much time and no template for this sirene? I have it also and only stuck with red notification and no audio! Please fibaro add this device in next beta. Why to make it so difficult? We paid so much for your solution! Don't make us to go somewhere else please!
