When can we expect a firmware update ?

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi Fibaro ...

As you know, you've made and sold a product that absolutely does not work out of the box ...

The only information we have at this time was posted by @I.Srodka on December 19, 2017 and was "we found some incorrect calculations" and since it is a complete radio silence !!!

A single "leak" on an hypothetic update in March but no official communication, you leave your customers in a total unknown situation and it is not acceptable !

The problem take so long time to be solved that it's probably not simply "some incorrect calculations" ...

So please keep your customer updated on what is going on !!!

I hope both ("as planned" and "no worries") will be true ;)

Otherwise... we'll wait until next winter...

Hi @meute you talk about the heat controller?

I also want to know something about fibaro's roadmap.

Greetings

From the beginning, we have to read each post and hope to find fragmented information inside ... this is not normal communication for customers for a problem who make no doubt !

I contacted a few people at Fibaro, and expressed my personal feelings about this. I told them, I am disappointed by the lack of openness and communication. But I do not run their business, and I honestly do not know what the best approach is in this case. I think it is not easy, I think Apple recently silently slowed down "older phones" or should I say "aging batteries" without notifying customers. This suggests to me, open communication is better, but Apple only commented after the facts. I do not run a business. I do not decide what to say and what not.
