[SOLVED]Where or how to learn LUA for writing scenes??

Question

Posted

Hi all,

Where or how do I learn LUA scripting for writing scenes?  Currently I have only written block scenes but I am keen to expand that and write more complex systems.

Is it specific to Fibaro what I need or is the language common?

For hands on training I am in Australia but I would assume there's an online option?

Any help GREATLY appreciated. It feels like secret mens business lol.

Regards

Sean

have a look at lua.org for the language as such.

For all the fibaro specific possibilities, have a look at the built in documentation http://HC-IP-Address/docs

and check all the examples here from all the specialists.

Some inspiration station that got me started with LUA:

- ZeroBraneStudio - download and install it, there are plenty of lessons and example programs inside

- Robbshop -

Please login or register to see this link.

- Yorkshire Automation videos -

Please login or register to see this link.

But mostly, you can learn so much from skilled members of this forum. For example "autofrank's one stop shop"

And many others.

Hope this helps!
