Door/Window Sensors Missing

Question

Posted

Hi,

I have a few window sensors installed for a year now. And I'm having 3 issues with them.

1) The first issue is that they do not warn me when they are almost empty. Although I do have that checked in preferences of the device (so they should notify). How can this be?

2) For some reason some of the devices have disappeared from the Homecenter (As in, they are not visible anymore) where so ever. How can this be? it seems they deleted themselves from the system which I find quite worrying... I'm 100% I did not delete them from the system myself

3) I want to readd them to the system but the add button is on the backside which is attached to the window... How can I readd it to the system?

Regards,

Jord

Hi
1) I do not know why my do the same. :|
2) Maybe the battery has been low for long.
3) There is a small button under the cover (it is held down by the tab on the cover)
3 click very soon after each other.
If HC can not be reached directly and you do not want / remove the sensor, you can move HC to the sensor with a long network cable. :)
