Using TP Link DECO with Fibaro

Question

Posted

HEllo! I am new to both the Fibaro solution and the forum. I have for some time tried to get  a stable ZWave system using HCL as GW, and TP link Deco (MASH network) to distribute the WiFi signals.

In short - I am not at all confident with this solution. The signals travel slow, I get constantly logged out and reconnected to the app (Both iOs and Androide).

So in short - it is a bad solution... BUT. I have no configured the TP link MEsh network without all the nice-to-have features, and put it up in bridged mode, and connected the HCL GW directly to my modem/DHCP distributor. Nothing has changed...... Its the same unstabillity, and poor performance of the HCL GW, and Im really out og solutions.

When making Magic Scenes (Motion Sensors triggering lights - All fibaro parts) I get a typical respons time of 12/14 sconds... I have tryed adjusting the motion sensor respons time, but northing helps.... The guides provided by Fibaro on how to directly assosiate Sensors and switches are not "a no brainer" - at lest not to me.... I guess making a direct assosiation woth give a better response time, but how the h...... do I configure that??
