Control lights with motion sensor, but with different actions during day and night

Question

Posted

I have searched  the internet trying to find a way to do this, but I haven't found a good solution. Maybe you can help me.

What I want to do is the following:

During daytime (06.00-22.00) I want to turn on lights in the bathroom with a motion sensor.

During nighttime (22.01-05.59) I want to turn on the lights in the bathroom the motion sensor, but dimmed to 3% of normal mode.

During both day and night I want to turn off all lights in the bathroom, if there is no motion for 8 minutes.

I have set up different scenes and variables, but they seem to collide in some way. What happens, is that during daytime, the lights turn on, but dimmed to 3 %. In the log, I can see that both scenes are triggered at the same time, but I thought the scenes with the time and active/inactive variables should prevent that. I addition I get maximum running instances exceeded on the "turn off lights"-scene.

Hopefully, this is easy for you guys. :-)

Hi

Unloading devices and variables:
You must only have marking in the multisensor release.
There must be no marking in "Activenight" and "Active"

Try as troubleshooting without delay in 480 sec.

Thanks for the reply, what do you mean by "marking"?

    Hi
I do not know how to translate it.
But that means "flueben eller markering" in Danish.

Okay, thanks now I understand, but I don't see where I have these checkboxes in the scenes.

Scenes should not run automatically when your variables are changed by the hours.
Scenes should only run when the multisensor ducks state within the variable time.
