Missing devices when making scene

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi, I try to make a simple scene that can be activated from the ipad GUI.

When I try to make a scene, using the device, FAN speed on the devise, it does not show up in the list of devices.

When I look at devices, it is there.

Anyone with some input?

I want to be able to set the fan to maximum speed for one hour, based on a click on the ipad app. (from the selection of five things)

Hi @Soft ,

What device exactly are you trying to use in this scene?

It is the Teknisk Rom -> Viftestyring -> Low speed, that I want to change to Hi speed for an hour or so.

From the "homepage" of the ipad app.

Try to begin your scene like this (if you want a manuel scene) and after "then" see if you can find and insert your device:

    Seems to be working :-),

If I could just select this directly on the ipad app, I don't need a script, but its not accessible as a "device that can be used"

    BTW running 4.120

    If you add:

    And

Viftestyring   =  Set mode   Low speed   3600S     It will slow down again after 1 hour.

Thank you, and yes I know that, but I would like to have a "button", as one of the 5 "shortcuts on the ios app, to press to start the script, or function to set the speed at full for one hour.
Maybe its possible to make a "virtual button" ?

I don't have IOS but can you manually start the scene like pressing this (and add the scene as "a button") ?

With android this is possible... :-)

Ok, so that workers, sort of..

If I do like this if will start it, but I think you are wrong on the 3600secs. I believe that is a delay for when to start the scene, and not how long it should run.
I can now start it from the app, but it will the fan will run forever, I could make a new script to stop it, but it will need another button then, and with only 5, the WAF factor is going downhill if she have to search and find some features. On that subject, can we have more buttons ? :-)

This is an example of a scene that turns on some lights (I have to start it manually) and after some time turns the lights of again..
