[SOLVED]Update Fail 4.0 -> 4.3

Hi,

 

i install 2 FGT paired with 1 sensor. After check update and try 4.0 to 4.3 it say:

 

Firmware update failed.

File size error. Contact FIBARO Support.

 

Did anyone have a solution for this?

Hi,

 

Include not secure mode and not network wide. shoeld work after that

Make sure your HC2 is on v4.170.

Exclude the FGT, then do a factory reset (press and hold the button on the FGT until the ring is yellow and then click to confirm). 

Once that is done, include the FGT again on the HC2.

Before starting the update to v4.3, bring the FGT really close to the HC2 (30...50 cm).

Try to update now.

 

If it starts to update, but aborts after a while, then retry... it might take several attempts.

If all that still doesn't work, contact support.

Dont forget to pray and  mention Fibaro support and software devs while doing it :)

It took me more than 10 hours to update 3 TRVs, Have another 6, but hey, summer is coming.

    Didn't do this. maybe that's the problem. ;D

    Wtf....thats sucks really. Did you do the compeltte exclude, reset, include, update for hours?
