LED Bulbs slow dimming via Dimmer 2

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello, I am new to the Fibaro Product line and have recently brought myself Home Center 2 and some Dimmer 2 Units. I am trying to control the LED Bulbs dimming via the module.

My challenge is that Switching ON or OFF the LED bulbs happens abruptly and not in a slow delayed manner. I would want that the light intensity of the bulbs

decreases or increases over 2-3 seconds (say)?

Is there a inherent function inbuilt in Dimmer2 which can help me achieve this effect? I have seen this happening in other Z-Wave dimmers and not sure on the Fibaro front.

I am using a dimmable LED bulb more than 30 Watts power.

Thanks

Regards

T

Try

fibaro:call(light_id, 'startLevelIncrease', 3000, 0);

Where 3000 equates to 3-seconds.
