Remotec ZTS-500

Hello All,

 

I have a Remotec ZTS-500 thermostat as its compatible with my HVAC system here in Australia.  I can add the device to the fibaro system ok, but the fibaro system keeps reporting that its 'not configured'

 

It seems to be working, most of the time, but why is it coming up Not Configured?  is it a problem?

Hi @mobbie,

 

I have had similar issues in the past with many devices including my ZXT-120's. Usually, I find a soft re-configure or re-adding them fixes the issue.

I've tried soft reconfigure, hard reconfig, as well as remove and re-add and it always comes up as not configured unfortunately.

Have you manually added all the required parameters? In particular, parameter 15 which sets the report interval for temperature. Also, have you configured it as a FLiRS device (Battery) or always listening (24V)?

@Robert Folbigg Only setup as FliRS as I don't have a 24v source (only 2 wire) for my HVAC.

 

I haven't looked at par 15 what should it be?

@Robert Folbigg FYI the device was working well last winter btw with the heat panel doing its thing.  This year, and the reason why i'm looking at it again, is that the heating panel configuration, and even if I do manual override does not seem to be updating the device.  If I try to manually change the temp by clicking on the devices temp setting in the HC2, it sometimes takes 3-4 attempts before it changes the temp.

well the good thing is its started working again, no idea why/how..... anyway thanks @Robert Folbigg for the suggestions.

i have a similar issue.  Shows as "Not Configured".  It seems to work OK but I am unable to change any of the parameters.  Any ideas?  I've tried soft and hard reconfiguration with no luck.

I can't seem to send commands in mine. It reads the sensor and set point but can't change the thermostat
