hi!

1st - login and password case-sensitive. 2nd login and password should be from local UI not from Fibaro clouds

Thank you for the reply. I use it local. And Im 200%shure I typing it right. I have eaven converted the username an password using basic authentication header generator. Tried with the hex%40 %2E in the username and password for @ and . but no luck.

If im logged in to my FIbaro, it work. When I type wrong password, it pop up username and password, and if I use the correct string, it goes thru. If I log out of my fibaro, the popup comes every time.

Sry if old post, but I'm having the exact same issue.

    http://username:password@IP/api/callAction?deviceID=190&name=pressButton&arg1=5

will always popup login prompt, even if credentials are correct.

Anyone got any idea about this?

    EDIT:

    http://username:password@IP/api/devices

This works, anything else doesn't authenticate and pops up login prompt. There is a bug 100%

    EDIT2:

It's strange, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I ended up just using curl and basic auth with base64.

More work but meh... Maybe someone can explain and I'll feel stupid :P
