How to control SOMFY motors with remotecontroll, with Fibaro

Hi,  I do have outside an awning with a Comfy motor.  This has a build-in receiver for my hand-hold remote control.  I would like to control this awning through a Fibaro Roller Shutter 2.  The only natural place for attachment is on the cord to the motor and this cord has only L+N+Ground.

Any suggestions how I can do this without buying a new motor ?

Hi @hansaroen, I'm not going to be useful I'm afraid.

Is there nothing nearer the motor with additional wire ? or plug that can be tapped into that goes to a wireless controller ? or is it all built into the motor ?

I think there are 2 versions a built in reciever, and an external reciever .. if it's built in it's beyond me.

Is yours a newer version cl900 or 920 ? ( might have just made that model up, I can't find the bookmark for the one I was looking at :| ), irrespective, mine are all older, and I have been thinking about replacing one of them, and saw the new wireless one, which  .. I assumed without looking into the specs at this early stage, would be able to be switched as well ..!

I have a mate with a wireless one and when we installed that it had a seperate RF control unit which fed the up down wires so you could control more than one window at a time, that may be an option to buying a new motor ?

You may find a breakout ( breakin ! ) box that is suitable somfy do a lot of variations on their product.

Mine are wired almost exactly ;

Good luck !
