[SOLVED]turn on the light when it’s lux and between time

JockeP

Question

Hi

I have fibaro home Lite and motion sensor and want to build a scene where the lights are turned on when it gets darker than 2500 lux, but between 23:00 and 09:00 the lights will not turn on.

Hi @JockeP

You have to create two scenes.

First: uses this tutorial

Please login or register to see this link.

to create a variable night/day.

Second: uses that variable to determine the time of day and the MS lux detection to measure a certain level of lux and turn on the lights.

It might be a bit confusing at first so feel free to ask if you have any additional questions!

the attached code does something similar.

it changes the setting of my sunscreens (your lamp) so that the lux value (motion sensor) is between 350 and 700 lux

and it closes the sunscreen 30 minutes after sundown and opens them at sunrise.

unfortunately some of the comments in the code are in Dutch but you can translate them at Deepl.com
