Question

Posted

Hi,

I have been having trouble installing last dimmer in our flat in a circuit that has 3 momentary wall switches and one switch in a fuse box.
I have a spare Fibaro Dimmer module but not sure how to install it. The approach that i am trying is to to install the module prio to the fuse box switch. I am attaching the photos the switch.

Can someone point out how the dimmer module should be incorporated here?

Let me know if there is any additional info that i should provide,

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Sorry, in order to be able to make any suggestion,

there is a few questions:

1) What do you intend to use the dimmer module as? As a remote control switch?

     or to dim your lighting?

2) If it is to dim your lighting, is your lighting connected directly to your fuse box?

3) Are you able to draw out your current connection diagram and indicate where you will like to add in the dimmer module?

Thanks.

    Hej,

    1. Module will be used just as a switch. no need for dimming

    2. No dimming.

    3. I am not able to draw it out unfortunately, but it contains 4 momentary (after pressing it gets back to initial state) switches and 1 relay switch (in the pictures above). As I understand the wires config is:
White wire on top  --- Lead from box
Black wire on top --- switches output

White + Blue bottom --- neutral

    Brown bottom --- output

I would like to install the module so that all elements in circuit work same with addition to control state through module. Hope that makes sense :)

Its something like in this video:

just here the guy changes one switch to fibaro switch. I am trying to incorporate the fibaro module without removing existing switch
