hey guys.

i love this forum and need your help. im in a possition to make plan for a whole house.

so i was thinking. doorbird with rfid for opening door,heaitit for heating,hikvision for video,denon for tv surround,logitech for controling tv and hifi equipment.

 

multiroom: where to locate ieast devices?in each room or all on one place or cabinet?next to hc?

sensors:how much does really battery last?or it is possible to make in run on 3v power supply?

weather station:qubino?or just use weather forecast? in case of rain to close windows or lower blinds when sun is up?

switch? how to solve multiple switches turning one light? with one relay?

what equipment is suitible for scene button-when leaving home-double click and all lights off.

I will only write what i would do it, so it is personal opinion.

This one depends. Do you have cables from cabinet to amplifier and Ethernet from cabinet to Switch? Control is IP, so it does not depends on where you place them. But i would go with cabinet.

Depends on Sensor you mean. But 3V sounds like Motion, CO, Smoke and Flood sensor. I think they can do 1,5 year, but depends on wakeup time, communication to HC and amount of Alarms.

I'm still for Netatmo. Or in case of Rain to some binary Rain sensor + Fibaro universal sensor.

I would go for associations (because of physical switches) and scene to synchronize all. Also i would recommend monostable Switches.

I'm using Fibaro button and Fibaro keyfob for this one. I'm using scene, that turns off my wall plug (I'm waiting for electrician to do some job on backboxes for Dimmers and Double Switch).
