HC2 does not recognize Axis cams

LS,

 

I'm running into some problems with the following hardware:
 

- Fibaro HC2

- Axis M3007-PV

 

There are two camera's which have factory settings except for a static IP. User and password are root/root. They are working fine, I can go to their appropriate URL's in a browser and see Live Live. iSpy Connect works fine as well. BUT the HC2 doesn't seem to recognize them. I tried the 3 Axis plugins without any luck. Tried a bunch of different URL's, with or without port numbers and with or without username and password. Latest firmware on Axis Cameras as well as the HC2.

works in a browser but not with Fibaro.

I tried:

 

http://root:[email protected]/jpg/image.jpg
http://root:[email protected]:80/jpg/image.jpg

 

I also tried some of the ports listed here:

Sadly, you cannot make it work. As I see it, the camera uses the compression h.264 which Fibaro does not support. To my knowledge, there is no workaround with the compression. However, if your camera can show a compressed video stream like MJPG you may succeed. 

 

Have you tried the plugin for Edimax ic3115w? Even though my camera is not an Edimax the plugin works for me on one of my cameras.

I have the exakt same problem with one of my old axis cameras. Did you solve the problem? Its easy to change from h264 to mjepg so what Thomasn is writing is not an issue imho. Any ideas?
