HC performing head calibration every 20 minutes

I installed some weeks ago 2 HC. One of them works properly. The second one is since one week performing a calibration every 20 minutes day and night and i don't know why.... I tried the mode OFF or the mode Heat but it does not change anything.

 

I tried to reset the HC and have reinstalled it but the problem still here.

 

Had anyone the same problem and what was the solution?

You are not the only one with this problem. I had several FGT's doing the same, and I tried everything. Reinstalling in every possible direction, manual recalibration, installing a small metal part between the valve stem and the FGT (supplied by Fibaro Support) but nothing worked. In the end, I had a plumber replace all the valves (not the FGT but the actual valve of the heating panel), and that solved the calibration problem.

 

An easy test would be to swap both FGT's and see if the problem moves with the FGT or is related to one heating panel valve. At least then you know whether it's the valve or the FGT causing the problems.

Also, I used adapters between the valve and the FGT and that could have been the cause as well. It's hard to tell.

 

By the way, the number of calibration errors I got increased dramatically after the firmware update from v4.0 to v4.3, so maybe the next firmware version might have an impact?

So if you have no time pressure, maybe you could wait for the next update and see how that works out...
