Control HCL from HTTP Request

suds32nz

Question

HI I own an HCL running firmware 4.501

I am wanting to control some of the features remotely with an HTTP URL

I have done this some time ago using

http://username:password@ipaddress/api/callAction?deviceID=236&name=turnOn

Now if I run this url I always get a login dialogue i.e. it does not seem to except the user and password

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

If logged in, he will not display login dialogue. If he logs off, he will appear。

What remote control do you use? Browser?
