Question

Posted

I have 3 plugs connected to a HC Lite. They have been working fine together with  door/windows sensor and a button.

After I moved the system they are not responding to door/window sensor or button in scenes.

I can turn on turn off manually but not from a scene.

The plugs have been properly removed and then properly added again. Working fine but no response through scenes.

Any ideas?

What exactly do you mean by moving the system?
Have you tried creating a new scene with all those devices to see if they'd work?

    Sorry for not beeing clear.

The system was moved to anothe building. Everything unplugged and reconnected. Same network so no changes more than power off/power on

I have tried to trigger the plugs from other devices through scenes. Motions sensor and Button. No response there either.

Before I created a new scene I removed all old that had plugs involved.

I can trigger other things such as cameras and our own alarm system without problem so it seems like the trigger works

Have you tried performing a mesh reconfiguration for every single device? If yes, and still nothing. try to reconfigure it for the whole system.

    Ok,

    I have reconfigured now.
Can trigger one time with the button but very strange. The button is removed from the device menu and I could only use it once.

Maybe the best thing is to reset the HCL and all all units again, from the start?

    /thomas

I could reassign the button and it now seem to work properly.

6 of my other units has been unassigned for some reason. I think a full reset and reconfigure is the best way as it seems like the HCL can not keep track on what is stored.

Have about 17 units connected including 5 Philips Hue.

Besides that there are a bunch of sub units like thermometers and light meters in my device list.

    Reset it will be.

Thank you for the quick answers

    By the way.

Is the Hue one device (bridge) or each lamp one device?

Yes, try doing that and let us know if it solves anything.

As the HCL has a limitation on attached devices I wonder if each sub device from a device (ie. thermometer, light meter etc) counts as on or if it is only the "master" that connects that is one device?

If all counts I have passed the limit and that could be a reason.

Will let you know how it looks after reset.

Have reseted the HCL and started to add devices again.

They need to be run through the "Remove" process first to be accepted.

    However,

Once they were assigned again i could trigger the first plug with the Button.

Will add more devices and check for changes.
