Another way to connect fibaro dimmer 2?

Is this an on way to connect fibaro dimmer 2.?

I think it well described in user manual.

please pay attention that figure 1 shows two wire connection, means without neutral wire!

Might be that what you're looking for...

    But I'm asking if this is an ok way to wire the fibaro dimmer 2.

     

    If I use it this way I can easily replace all dimmer pucks on all my downlights, and existing lighting in my house.

    I dont see the purpouse of "sx", why use it at all? It seems to be working (i have tried one DIMMER2 like picture abowe) but need to know if sx have some sort of safety function.

    You're right it works with direct connection as well, but as far as I know Sx provides same voltage, but with very low current.  (Back few months I have tested that by connecting resistor and measure the current).

    To my opinion in case something wrong with the device and it connected directly to the power line, it may cause potential fire and power failure.

    @SOW, it is correct connection and as @cag014 said it works. But i would suggest to connect button to Sx instead of L. It is safer and no one can tell you a *beep*, since you connected it according to manual.
