Which dimmeble LED driver for Dimmer 2 and LED strip?

csillag

Question

Hi, I have an installation which mostly uses dimmable IKEA LED bulbs, except at one location, where I need a LED strip.

I already have the dimmer 2 and bypass 2 modules installed at this location.

I purchased a 12V LED strip and a matching LED driver, which works, but it turns out that the Dimmer 2 module can only switch it on and off, since the driver is not dimmable.

Could someone please recommend me a good dimmable LED driver that works with Dimmer 2 (preferably with Bypass?)

I am trying to use three if these strips:

(That means 72W altogether.)

The driver they sold me at the same shop is:

Unfortunately the tech page is in Hungarian, but I think you can figure it out.

It's a constant voltage driver.

Thank you.

  • Since posting the question, I understood that for LED strips, I am supposed to user the RGBW module, instead of the Dimmer 2.

So the question is mostly moot now.
