Downloading the configuration (backup) file into source-control (git)

Question

Posted

I'm just getting started with my Home Center 2. I keep all of my home firewall, networking, and code in git so I can track changes and revert in case (when) I make a mistake.

I can see the backup/restore options, but it doesn't seem to give you a plain-text downloadable file which I could then check-in and look at with "git diff" etc.

Is there a way to get such a file, or is there a feature request option?

Unfortunately there's no such option for the moment. But it should be available in the next update ;)

Awesome, that'd greatly improve my backup options. Thanks.
