Takes a long time to connect to HC

Why is it that when i open app when remote it takes about 18 seconds to connect and when in local takes about 8 seconds.!

 

is this notmal? It takes this long to connect when open app?

Same problem here. It got worst with last 2 iPhone app updates. Using HC2 v4.160 (didn’t update because of supposed lagging problem on newer versions).

updating on this issue. I've checked: app settings -> CHOOSE HC option -> EDIT -> IP

I don't know why, the IP number here was completely different from the HC2 local IP. I manually changed it to the correct local IP and the app reduce considerable the time to connect to HC2 when I am within the local network. My guess was that as the IP setting was incorrect, the app always had to connect via remote path (which creates a huge lag).

Now everything is back to normal: when in the local network, connection is fast. when outside, connection lag a bit.
