Potential free switch for garage door

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I wan't to remote control my garage door. My garage door operator (Novoferm Novomatic 200) can be controlled via a potential free wiring (The "F" connectors on attached schema).

From what I understand the "Relay Switch" could be the solution. (I'll have to connect it to the AC though...)

Do you see a best solution?

Thanks !

i gues it is a pulse contact?

or is it:

close contact, door close

open contact: open door?

as far as i know, you can do this with a double switch version 1 (not version 2)

  • Yes, it's a pulse contact. Can you post a link to the "double switch version 1"?

  • Ok, seems like the single relay switch can do it too, no need to get a double one.
