State differ with push notification

Question

Posted

Hi Guys,

I am still new to the Fibaro business and therefore do not know everything so well with everything.

Yesterday I instaled the door and window contact 2 on the whole ground floor.

I have created a push notification door open and door closed. I can select in the settings but only one of them.

Say when the door opens I get on my phone the message "door has been opened" and when I close the door I get the message "door has been opened" again

Now my question is how do I get to distinguish the state open and closed and how do I attach that to the sensor?

Do I have to write a scene and with which parameters can I distinguish whether the door is open or closed?

At the moment I am a bit helpless.

Thank you for your help.

Greetings sHaFTeR

That means actually how do I say the following to the sensor.
If the state of the door is "open" then the next state change must automatically be "closed". So I want to be notified or not?

Build a block scene that sends you a notification "opened" whet it's breached and "closed" when its safe. ;)

Hi, I understand so far, that seems to me too.
But how do I do it if I do not have the system sharp when I'm at home and still want to know if I'm open or close?

I don't really know what you're trying to say here. What does it mean to have the system sharp?

When I am at home, the alarm is off.
    That means not active.

When I leave the house I turn on the alarm.
    That means active.

However, when I am at home and the alarm is turned off, I still get the message that my door has been opened via the notification tool. Now my question is how do I get a message that the door was closed again.

The notification tool can only send the same message!

    Such as.

Door has been opened (push message: door has been opened)
Door closed (push message: door opened)

Because I can not set different push notifications for the different states but only the one us same.

Therefore, I currently have only the notification about the open active.

If I choose state change then always the same push message comes regardless if open or closed and I can not distinguish it.

You can create one scene that sends notification "door open" when the sensor is breached and another one that sends "door closed" when it's safe.

Yes, I had already understood that but it is only possible if the alarm is turned on or do I understand wrong?

And when I'm home then I want to disable the alarm when I enter the house. And with the alarm off, nothing can breach and thus your scene is not synonymous.

A notification sent from Door/Window Sensor can be sent with no relation to alarm. Here's a manual.

This will work despite turning the alarm off. Remember to use only "Safe" and "Breached" values.

    @sHaFTeR

Please note that mobile-pop-up notification sent to all your mobiles. You can not choose specific mobile.

You have two other options where you can select specific mobile

    1. Push notification

    2. Interactive push notification

and off course there is a standard email option.
