Sometimes lights dont go out.

Hello Everyone.

Ive a question.

I programmed with block scene a script thats turn off my light when he sees nobody in 45 second.

But 90% off the time the lights go out.

But the other 10% the light stays on.

 

Someone any idea?

What kind of sensors do you use? If it's a Motion Sensor, wouldn't it be easier to create a simple magic scene?

Its  motion but the scene checks if door is closed and when its dark. So i cannot do that in magic scene

Then you can create a block scene that uses a magic scene. If the door is closed and when it's dark the run scene that turns the light off if the Motion Sensor wasn't triggered for a minute.

But thats nog the problem i think. I dont know why it some time stays on. Normaly always it goes off

Problem might be in a scene, as it's a bit complicated. Please, try doing the one i suggested first and then we'll see if that changes anything.

I found the problem but dont know how to solve.

I saw that everytime the lights was going out only when he dont see movement when the light was on.

 

When the lights go on and the motion detects someting the lights are not going out.
